DESCRIBING YOUR CHILDHOOD

Conversation: Talking About Childhood

Sara: Hi, Ahmed! What were you like as a child?
Ahmed: I was very curious and friendly. I always asked many questions!
Sara: That’s nice! Did you have a favorite toy?
Ahmed: Yes, I had a small wooden car. I played with it every day.
Sara: Did you like school when you were young?
Ahmed: Yes, I did! My teachers were kind, and I loved drawing and reading stories.
Sara: Sounds wonderful! I used to ride my bike and play with my neighbors after school.
Ahmed: Those were really happy days!

Story: My Childhood Memories

When I was a child, I lived in a small village with my family.
We had a big garden full of flowers and trees.
Every morning, I fed the chickens and helped my mother in the kitchen.
I loved riding my bicycle with my friends around the neighborhood.
In the evening, my father told us stories before bedtime.
I still remember those days — they were simple but full of joy and love.
