DISCUSSING PERSONAL VALUES

 DISCUSSING PERSONAL VALUES

Conversation

Ali: Hi Fatima, what do you think is the most important value in life?
Fatima: Hmm, for me, it’s honesty. I believe telling the truth builds trust.
Ali: I agree. I think respect is also very important. Without it, people can’t live in harmony.
Fatima: Yes, and kindness makes the world a better place. When we’re kind, we make others happy.
Ali: True! My parents always taught me about responsibility — doing what’s right even when no one is watching.
Fatima: That’s a great one. I also value friendship and loyalty. Real friends stand by you no matter what.

Story: The Honest Boy

Once there was a boy named Sami who loved playing football. One day, he accidentally broke his neighbor’s window while kicking the ball. He was scared but decided to tell the truth. The neighbor was surprised but appreciated Sami’s honesty. She forgave him and even gave him lemonade!
From that day, Sami learned that being truthful brings respect and peace of mind. He promised to always live by his values.
