Conversation
Teacher: Good
morning, class! Today, we will learn about telling the date.
Amina: Teacher, what does date mean?
Teacher: A date tells us the day, month, and year.
For example, today is October 24, 2025.
Ali: Oh! So, we say the day first and then the month and year?
Teacher: Yes, very good! In English, we say, “Today is October
twenty-fourth, twenty twenty-five.”
Amina: What day was yesterday?
Teacher: Yesterday was Thursday, October 23rd, 2025.
Ali: And tomorrow will be Saturday, October 25th, 2025!
Teacher: Excellent! Now, everyone, tell me today’s date!
