Conversation
Teacher: Good
morning, class! Today, we will talk about nationality and language.
Amina: Teacher, what does nationality mean?
Teacher: Good question, Amina. Nationality means the country
a person is from. For example, if you are from Somalia, your nationality
is Somali.
Ali: And what about language?
Teacher: Language means the words and sentences people use
to talk. For example, people in Somalia speak Somali and Arabic.
Amina: I am Somali, and I speak Somali and English.
Ali: I am Kenyan. I speak Swahili and English.
Teacher: Very good! Let’s all say our nationalities and languages.
