Conversation: Spelling Your Name

Teacher: Good morning! What’s your name?
Ali: My name is Ali Ahmed.
Teacher: How do you spell your first name?
Ali: A - L - I.
Teacher: Very good! And how do you spell your last name?
Ali: A - H - M - E - D.
Teacher: Excellent!
Amina: My name is Amina Noor. I spell it A - M - I - N - A.
Teacher: Wonderful! Now, everyone, let’s say the alphabet together — A, B, C, D, E…

Story: Learning the Alphabet

In class, the students are learning the alphabet. The teacher writes big letters on the board — A, B, C, D.
Ali reads the letters aloud. Amina smiles and helps her friend Omar.
Omar says, “I can spell my name — O-M-A-R!”
The teacher claps and says, “Good job, everyone! You can all spell your names now.”
The students feel happy and confident.
